Abstract: The article discusses the importance of student motivation and its impact on their academic success. Various factors that influence the formation of motivation have been identified, including ambitions, personal interests, family and societal expectations, as well as the level of teacher motivation. The study suggests various approaches to enhancing student motivation, including stimulating intrinsic motivation, fostering self-esteem, actively engaging students in the learning process, and creating a supportive educational environment. The paper presents practical recommendations and methods that teachers can employ to enhance student motivation. Additionally, the article emphasizes the significance of academic activities at the university and their influence on student motivation. The article emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive and developing environment where students will receive not only knowledge but also develop interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and critical thinking.

The paper explores the current issue of student motivation in the context of modern higher education. The rapidly changing educational environment and digital technologies necessitate new approaches to student motivation, making this research both relevant and essential in the contemporary context. This paper aims to investigate the motivation of students to attend a modern university. To achieve the goal set by the author of the study, the following tasks were solved: (i) to identify factors that can influence the formation of student motivation; (ii) to reveal the mechanisms and processes that underlie the formation of student motivation; (iii) to formulate practical recommendations and methods and provide them to teachers and university administration to strengthen student motivation and create a favorable educational environment.

Scientific novelty lies in the parts of the study where student motivation is examined comprehensively, encompassing the investigation of various factors influencing motivation and its relationship with university educational activities. This contributes to a more complete picture of student motivation and multiple ways to activate and support it. Additionally, the paper provides specific recommendations and methods for teachers and university administrators to enhance student motivation and develop practical educational activities. These recommendations are based on scientific data and can be applied in practice to improve the quality of education and achieve better outcomes.

The theoretical significance of the paper lies in its provision of new insights into student motivation within the context of a modern university. It contributes to supplementing and expanding the existing theory of motivation by suggesting new approaches and factors affecting student motivation. In addition, the study shows the relationship between student motivation and their learning, as well as the role of educational activities in enhancing motivation. This enables us to better understand how motivation influences learning outcomes and how to create an effective academic environment that fosters student motivation. The paper offers specific recommendations and methods for teachers and university administration to enhance student motivation. These recommendations are grounded in a theoretical framework and can be applied in practice to improve the quality of education and achieve better outcomes. The study offers an opportunity to understand the role of educational activities at the university and their impact on student motivation. Based on this understanding, new approaches to educational activities can be developed, taking into account motivational aspects, and thereby increasing the effectiveness of the educational process. The practical significance of the study lies in its provision of specific recommendations and methods for teachers and university administrators that can be used to effectively stimulate and support student motivation. This enables teachers to design curricula that promote students' motivation and enhance their interest in the learning process..
