Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Articles has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere or are not now under publication elsewhere.
  • Article addresses specific problems, general issues, methodological issues, the results of original research, and case studies that meet current economic understanding and have scientific or/and practical value.
  • Article is prepared according to the requirements for the design and structure.
  • Article is in MS Word format(doc,docx).
  • Articles is prepared in English or Georgian!
  • All necessary documents are attached to the article.

Author Guidelines

General information

The journal “INNOVATIVE ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT” only accept articles that have not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere, or are not now under publication elsewhere.

If a manuscript has already been rejected by another journal, this information should be provided clearly.

Journal only accept research articles addressing specific problems, general issues, methodological issues, the results of original research and case studies meeting current economics understanding and have scientific or/and practical value. Articles can be cross-disciplinary.

The editorial board retains the right to edit the submitted papers for technical, grammatical and scientific reasons.

According to results of reviewing the article can be published unchanged or with minor changes recommended by the reviewer, returned to the author(s) with recommendations for significant revisions and subsequently re-reviewed, or rejected. The rejected articles will not be considered again for review. For accepted articles, authors will be requested to revise the text, and minor changes, and submit the paper within 10 days.

Articles should be prepared in English or Georgian!

 

We only accept manuscript for review with the full package of accompanying documents:

  • The article (Template for authors ENGLISH, GEORGIAN);
  • The abstract of the article in English;
  • The information about the author (Template);

File names must contain the author's last name (for example: Gechbaia_article.doc; Gechbaia_abstract.doc).

 

after the article is accepted for publication in the journal. The author must sign and send a scanned copy of an agreement.

 

The requirements for the structure and the design of articles:

Authors should use and format their articles in  English, and Georgian

Requirements for the design and structure of the text:

1. Articles should be  A4 paper with 2 cm margins on all sides, 1 cm indentation and single-spaced. The articles should be from 8 to 30 pages (optimally – 15–20 pages).

4. Abstract: (Times New Roman, Bold 12 pt, Justify, 250 – 300 words)

5. Keywords: (Times New Roman, Bold 12 pt, min 4, max 7)

6. JEL classification: (Times New Roman, Bold 12 pt)

7. Introduction and review of literature

Introduce the research topic, main objectives, scope, existing hypotheses and other key issues. A review and understanding of relevant literature should also be presented in this section. (Times New Roman,12 pt, Justify).

8. Methodology

The research methodology should be described in detail in this section. A description of the research, intellectual work performed should be presented. (Times New Roman,12 pt, Justify).

9. Results

In this section, present the main results of the research (Times New Roman,12 pt, Justify)

10. Conclusions

Discuss the importance of the work, present the possibilities of its practical and theoretical application. (Times New Roman,12 pt, Justify)

11. References

References are formatted according to the international bibliographical standard, APA-style. Follow the author's guidelines when preparing the reference (Times New Roman,12 pt, Justify).

Please be aware that you shouldn't refer seminars, workshops, textbooks, or other non-scientific publications. Only in extreme circumstances, and with no more than 10% of your total sources, may you link to your own original research. It is better to avoid mentioning conference proceedings. The majority of your references should be from monographs and articles that have been published within the last 5 years in recognized local and international publications. The reference should come at the conclusion of every quotation. The list of sources should include the writers cited in the article.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The Journal does not charge any fees for publishing an article (APCs).

The Journal is funded by the National Institute of Economic research i batumi Navigation Teaching University.

Users/Visitors can access the journal's website without registering or entering any personal information.

 

Users can also create an account by filling out the user form on the website. A user can submit a paper both through his own account and through the journal's email. For detailed information about submitting a paper, please see the Author Guidelines. The site's registration form asks users to enter their personal information (first name, last name, e-mail address, etc.).

 

The personal data is used to contact visitors as needed. This personal data also enables us to notify users about updates and new publications. All information is kept confidential. The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

All reviewers have to follow the ethical guidelines for peer reviewers established by COPE (the Committee on Publication Ethics). As a reviewer, they agree to keep information regarding a given manuscript confidential; information may only be shared with the authors' respective representatives, reviewers, other editorial advisers, and, if required, the publisher. Unpublished information disclosed in a submitted paper is prohibited from being used without the author's explicit written consent in the editor's, reviewers', or any other reader's research. Editors agree to keep any information, ideas, or insights they get from working with the manuscript confidential and not use them for their own gain during or after the peer review process.

 

The edition board guarantees to keep information regarding a given manuscript confidential, information will be shared with the authors' respective representatives, reviewers, other editorial advisers, and, if required, the publisher.
